A movie is a form of entertainment that enacts a story by sound and a sequence of images giving the illusion of continuous movement and expresses emotions. This is also called a film or motion picture. A film is a very important form of entertainment nowadays people also consider it as a strong form of education. A visual film is a universal way of communication. The process of making motion pictures has become an art form and an industry of competition. This industry is ever green. People generally watch films to relieve stress and relax for a while.


What is movie making?
The movies are made of series of images called frames. Frames are combined in sequences to form shots. The common elements of movie making consists of scripts, sets, costumes, production, direction, actors, audiences, storyboards, editing and scores. Film making uses a motion capturing devise. The film rates motion pictures of 24 frames per second; which means camera captures 24 shots per second. With the development of celluloid films it has become possible to capture motion of objects directly. The major development in the film sector is the change from black and white movie to color movies. The color films used are at least a 3 layered photographic film. A print film after developing appears as a film role that’s negative. A film’s speed depends on the threshold sensitive light. Cinematographers strive to control the lighting over the sets as it is very important element which shows the beauty of the film. Editing is a very important part as we decide the length and the order of shots to give the movie the right feel of progression.
Movie categories are divided into several types, they are: Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Historical, Horror, Musicals, Science Fiction, War, western and animated.
